A lot will depend on his race the day before but barring any disasters TORRENS gets the verdict ahead of the frustrating Bridgewater Boys and Sleepy Mountain. It's hard to know how he'll be effected after his run on Monday but the the selection has been on top form of late and he found just one too good last time shaping as if his turn will come soon. In this company that could easily be here, as long as he comes to no harm in his next effort. Bridgewater Boys is rated at least 12lbs better than the others in the race and drops into selling company after disappointing in a claimer last time. He was a winner on his penultimate start over a slightly shorter trip from which the form is weak. That said he has the ability to win here if he can run to his best. Sleepy Mountain put in a decent effort last time to claim a runners-up spot over distance in a similar event at Lingfield. Again the form is weak from the contest but it won't take much to get involved here. Summer Bounty has a claim on a place with some solid displays in the last few runs but Torrens has the verdict.
