Gold Guest can see off Earlsfield Raider and Silver Prophet in the eighth and final race on the card. Gold Guest raced a bit too keenly at Catterick last time, but had every chance in eventually finishing second to Yenaled. The third horse was fully 17 lengths away so he must have every chance of returning to winning ways. On the negative side, that last run was in claiming company, but this is not much better and the David Evans inmate is taken to gain his first win since last January. That came on Lingfield's Polytrack so he should have no trouble on today's surface. Earlsfield Raider was a comfortable winner on the fibresand here in February but has not been seen since scoring over hurdles at Plumpton in April. Gary Moore's charge will be fitter for this outing and should be noted when going back over the obstacles. Silver Prophet does not score too often but lines up on a 10lb lower mark than on Turf so has claims as well, but we shall side with Gold Guest in the finale.
