In depth

Verdict

FA'IZ is hard to oppose here. The Godolphin colt improved on a disappointing debut effort when chasing home the clear winner at Chester last month and can open his account with further progress on the cards. Berengar looked a little outpaced on his debut over 6f at Newmarket but was staying on at the finish and this extra distance will suit, while Kiwayu showed some promise on his debut in a big field at Kempton and any strong support in the betting could prove significant. Poncho and Three Am Tour make most appeal of the debutants and are worth noting.
