Another large field goes to post for this maiden but the principals appear to be Amandus, Indian Dream and Front Rank and we will take a chance on Amandus. The colt from the David Loder yard was a good second behind Adopted Hero in a similar race at Lingfield and if he can reproduce that level of form on this surface he will be hard to beat. Indian Dream is another from a top yard that could go well he was fifth behind Lifted Way on his debut despite running green. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and has definite place claims. Front Rank is another from a top yard that could go, well but his breeding suggests he will be seen to much better effect over a longer trip. Of the remainder Iwo Jima is from a yard that does well here and he is worth noting in the market but we will take a chance on Amandus.
