towards rear, ridden over 2f out, stayed on
in touch, ridden and headway to chase winner over 1f out, soon one pace
very slowly into stride, always in rear
reared start, mid-division, ridden and beaten halfway
broke well, tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, one pace
chased leader, ridden approaching 3f out, one pace
mid-division, edged left halfway, ridden over 2f out, no impression
in touch on inside, hampered from halfway, not recover
towards rear, hampered halfway, ridden and weakened over 1f out
A field large in numbers but low in quality and on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning but the main protagonists appear to be Pup's Pride, Czar Wars and Speedfit Free and the confident vote goes to Pup's Pride' The six year old won a classified stakes race in good style last time out when defeating Tefi and if he can reproduce that effort here he will be hard to beat. Czar Wars rates the main danger he is another that goes well at the track and he was a good fifth in a much better race behind Gilded Cove last time he will not be far away despite top weight. Speedfit Free is another worthy of consideration he was a fair third last time out behind Sarn and a reproduction of that effort would give him definite place claims. Of the remainder Patientes Virtis and Pips Song are from shrewd yards and are worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Pups Pride.
