The once raced Quail Landing is given the nomination having looked sure to benefit for her initial racecourse experience. Sent off a 50-1 shot, she got going all too late but that particular maiden has already yielded two winners backing up first impressions, they being that it was quite a hot maiden. This half-sister to the formerly smart handicapper Enforcer can break her maiden tag here. St Trinians found the racecourse all too much for on her debut but once settled into action she picked up well. That particular maiden did not appear as strong as the one contested by Quail Landing but that said she looks the biggest danger with further improvement likely. Marcus Tregoning's second runner Shadayid Khanum was last seen finishing second in a Brighton maiden where today¿s rival Zantic was well adrift. Beaten by 65 rated rival in that Brighton maiden, it is probable her stable-mate is better than that quite ordinary assessment. Market support of Manchestermaverick would be significant given connections but we will side with Quail Landing here.
