In depth

Verdict

The frustrating Crown Power placed yet again over 1m3f at Kempton and drops down in trip. ACROSS THE NILE bids for a hat-trick of course and distance victories having won a seller before making a winning debut for Mark Loughnane’s yard and looks worth sticking with, though Lady Alavesa has a shout on last month’s length defeat at Kempton while Dubai Lady finished lame when sent off favourite at Newcastle on her handicap debut and is fitted with a hood on her return.
