Verdict

DIVINE CONNECTION finished in front of Hachert when runner-up in first-time blinkers at Southwell last week. The headgear remains in place and Craig Lister’s filly can go one better. Independence Day scored over 6f at Kempton last time but has plenty to prove over this longer trip judged on previous attempts and Peachey Carnehan is preferred back over 7f having won at this lowly level in the past.
