Despite not being particularly well served by the framing of this seller OBE GOLD is a confident selection to land a hat-trick and his selection is at the expense of the highest rated in the race Ravi River and Imperial House, who was unlucky in running last time out. It's now four wins in seven starts for the selection, whose made competing in this grade something of an art form. Granted he is yet to win at this venue but there's little wrong with his last course attempt and a hat-trick beckons.Ravi River does hold the pick on the weights and David Evans' charge did looked slightly back to form last time. At present, though, his rating looks inflated and it looks significant that his normal pilot prefers to ride our selection.Imperial House's last run is best forgotten has he wasn't given a clear run so the Ron Harris trained colt is best judged on his late win at Lingfield two run back. That form is encouraging coming into this and he has every chance under an in-form pilotVia Mia would be another for the short-list but she's not been at her best for a while, which can't be said for Obe Gold, who should continue his purple patch.
