      Verdict

      A dual winner in France in 2011, LITIGANT was unfancied in the betting at Kempton on his belated return to action. But he went close to returning a shock winner and Seamus Durack's new charge gets the vote as he looks sure to stay this longer distance. Gabrial's King won a lesser grade event over 1m6f here in September, but he still makes more appeal than stablemate Gabrial's Hope and Kiama Bay, who also sports the same owners colours. Swinging Hawk also scored over 1m6f at Haydock in the same month and he looks a threat having won twice over hurdles since then.
