A fairly competitive finale but Bobby Kennard remains open to further progress having been lightly campaigned so gets the TEAMtalk vote. The Jamie Osbourne-trained gelding has shown a consistent level of form since being switched to staying trips and deserves to lift a race of this nature having been placed on his last four starts in similar grade. Aveiro and Ulshaw are both previous course and distance winners who come here in fair form but are more exposed than the selection. Dual purpose performer Bustling Rio may struggle under top weight while Chater Flair is best watched following a six-month break.
