        Verdict

        Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and Zak Facta can take advantage of this opportunity to open his account. Nick Littmoden's gelding made a promising start to his career when beaten just four lengths in a useful Newmarket maiden over six furlongs in October. The son of Danetime appeared to find the drop to the minimum trip against him when a staying-on third at Lingfield next time but will prove hard to beat over this more suitable distance. Blue Trojan and Devil's Teardrop have shown a fair amount of ability but lack the scope of the selection but newcomer Mandarin Spirit wouldn't have to be anything out of the ordinary to figure and should be noted in the market.
