        Verdict

        A wide open maiden here and as usual in these type of events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Duty Free, Peregrine Falcon and Tivers Song and the narrow vote is given to Duty Free. The selection was a fair fourth behind Grey Rover last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Peregrine Falcon is a well bred type who showed a modicum of ability on his debut when last seen, he is sure to have learnt from the experience and will not need to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Tivers Song is bred to go well on this surface and hails from a yard in form so could go well at a price. Of the remainder Cavalry Twill is another that catches the eye on breeding and is another that could go well but in a race where the market will be very informative for the winner we return to Duty Free.
