A competitive end to proceedings where AKHMATOVA is the suggestion. The Cape Cross-filly is dropped back in trip today and that can prove the catalyst to success. She is nicely treated at the weights and acted well on Lingfield's Polytrack when taking a 10f handicap there, so there is plenty of cause for optimism. Aultcharn is drawn next door and has shown ability in maidens, though he has a bit to prove from this mark in a handicap. Stevie Gee has won from higher than today's pitch but is not guaranteed to see this out if they go a genuine gallop, while Hidden Glory has to be much respected under a 6lb penalty for his Kempton success.
