In depth

Verdict

A reasonable contest where REASON TO BELIEVE has a good draw and is taken to defy a 5lb rise and follow-up his Hamilton win. Ben Haslam has booked Paul Hanagan for the mount and the gelding showed a good attitude to get home in front over 6f. This step up to 7f is a potential positive and he can find the improvement he needs. Captain Loui has been in fine form in selling and claiming company but was found out from this mark in a handicap last time and one with more promise could be Chibchan on his nursery debut. Orange Ketchup is worth a try back over this trip and money for either he or nursery newcomer Commercial may well prove to be significant.
