Desert Doctor has been racing in Dubai without success but had El Hombre back in fourth when winning last year’s renewal. Concierge is another to consider having won with something in hand over track and trip last month but WASNTEXPECTINGTHAT has won three of four starts on the Tapeta at Newcastle and Richard Fahey’s progressive sprinter may be the one to side with in this. Treacherous landed a double at Kempton last month and Embour is partnered by Ryan Moore having his first start since a decent effort in the Ayr Gold Cup in September. Deputise will be sharper for last week’s comeback and Katheefa has been in good form at Southwell.
