Tokewanna is on a roll at the moment and despite an 8lb rise for her two recent wins, she looks capable of completing the hat-trick at the main expense of Temper Tantrum, King Nicholas and Mac's Talisman. The selection ran on strongly to score over course and distance last time, to go with a seven furlong success here on her previous start. She gets on well with her pilot, loves this surface, and may just about be capable of defying that rise in the weights. Temper Tantrum will have his supporters after just getting up to pip Atlantic Ace over course and distance last time. A 4lb rise will do him no favours either though, and the way he ran there suggests that it could be a couple of pounds too many. King Nicholas came late to beat La Landonne here last time, his best piece of form for some time. He is not the most consistent of sorts and after a slight rise in the weights for that win, we may have missed our chance. Of the others, Mac's Talisman is unproven over trip and on the surface, while Mind Alert is another who might find this too slow, and so for the winner we return to Tokewanna.
