ZAPPER CASS gets only a tentative vote in a wide-open sprint. He scored over 5f here earlier in the week but beat The Groove over today’s trip at Chelmsford last month. Spirit Of Wedza returns to action 6lb higher than when scoring at Catterick in October but Followthesteps looks more favourably handicapped wearing headgear for the first time while Venturous went close over the minimum trip here on his latest start. Kupa River beat Aguerooo only a head with Steelriver in third when successful over course and distance last month though was due to run at Leicester yesterday.
