    Verdict

Rated 78, MARMA'S BOY could prove the one to beat on his reappearance in an ordinary maiden as he found only one too good at both Goodwood and Salisbury last term. Scrutinise showed a glimpse of promise in a couple of starts in October while Brandon Castle made a good start when third at Bath in September only to disappoint later. High Intensity will appreciate the longer trip after a couple of outings at Southwell but the remainder have shown little so far.
