Diktalex gets the vote over Sounds Simla, She Whispers and Buzzin'boyzee in a race that will take little winning. Diktalex is reportedly difficult to keep sound, but that did not stop her from landing a seller for Bill Turner at Lingfield in January. She then chased home Ockums Razor in a claimer here before switching to Michael Attwater for whom she returned to a bit of form at Southwell on her most recent outing last month. The drop back down to this level should help her to go close in a poor contest. Sounds Simla paid her way as a juvenile for Ralph Beckett, scoring twice, and returned to form for present connections when short-heading Otis B Driftwood at Lingfield a fortnight ago. The drop back to five furlongs was an inspired move by trainer Rae Guest and although back up in trip a bit here, she can give the selection most to do. She Whispers won the weakest of sellers at Lingfield in December and has been out of form since, as has Buzzin'boyzee, although his wide draw last time, also at the Surrey track, would not have helped. The market should be noted as regards the rest but our vote goes to Diktalex.
