Gabrial The Duke has won 10 races but his last four starts have been over two miles and he hasn't run since August. Idol Deputy has won 11 races, 10 of them here, though never from a mark this high. Lawyer hasn't been in the best of form but he's been placed at a higher level and wouldn't be travelling here without good reason. OFF THE PULSE has won four times on the all-weather, all here, and was conceding weight to Perfect Cracker when beating him twice here early last year. He's taken to get back on the winning trail as Berlusca, another specialist on the track, won here last week and a penalty takes him onto his highest-ever mark. Lostock Hall ran well at Lingfield last time and is another to consider in a tight handicap.
