The former Dermot Weld-trained Rajapur has shown little to date and was a 100/1 chance when beaten a long way on his debut for Philip Kirby over 7f here last month. This is a huge step up in trip, though his pedigree suggests he'll be suited. Frivolous Prince ran by far his best race to date when stepped up to 1m1f here last month and, though this could be stretching his stamina, he finished strongly. Just in front of him that day was WHITECLIFF PARK, who came with a late rattle to finish a close third. He can confirm the places and take this poor opener. Lady President has had six of her seven starts on this track, the last four over 1m1f. Her young rider has been in good form and this won't take much winning so she's no forlorn hope.
