Chookie Dunedin is looking to repeat last year’s success in this after going close over 7f here but NEWSCASTER is less exposed. The latter made a winning start in handicaps with a course and distance success and a 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent Karl Burke’s filly going in again. Mythmaker finally showed the benefit of a tumble down the weights when beaten less than length here last time and Final Frontier found only one too good over track and trip looking for his first win on the all-weather. Benefit Street and Zapper Cass look high enough in the handicap though the former drops back down a grade.
