tracked leader after 1f, led over 1f out, pushed out
led, pushed along over 2f out, ridden and headed over 1f out, kept on one pace
dwelt in touch in rear, switched right and headway over 1f out, edged left entering final furlong, stayed on
keen tracked leaders, pushed along over 2f out, kept on same pace
All of these step up in distance today but HARD TASKMASTER is the most progressive. The latter shrugged off a further hike in the weights when returning a clear-cut winner over a mile at Chelmsford and a four-timer beckons for James Tate’s colt. Nathless and Hoffa faced tough tasks in Class 2 contests on their respective handicap debuts and should go well while Jacko has shown steady progress in novice company but Sepahi has plenty to find with the selection.
