Mia's Boy and Exit Smiling both come into this with confidence following wins and the former looks most capable of following up. Mia's Boy is a lightly-raced colt and looks open to further improvement. With more experience under his belt he can show us more than when tried over 10f last year and this trip should be ideal. Provided he handles this track then he can follow up. Exit Smiling got up to win over a mile at Southwell last time but he has acted well enough here in defeat before. Even so a 5lb rise for that win, plus considerably less scope for improvement means he is opposed. Putra Laju runs to a consistent level of form and remains on a competitive mark, so he can't be ruled out, while Not Another Cat will probably have to wait for other days. Mia's Boy gets the vote.
