      Verdict

      Bitter Lemon returns to the Polytrack after a close-up fifth at Redcar in October and should be in the firing-line with a similar effort, but VILLA REIGNS has the more recent form. He was giving weight to higher rated opponents when third in a C&D maiden on Boxing Day and will find this easier. Lady Caprice won a claimer at Catterick last July, but has run nowhere near that form since, while Lord Buffhead has failed to match his winning effort at Newcastle in four subsequent outings. J J Leary has a bit to find on last year's early season form, but is worth noting on his first run since May.
