Foursquare Flyer was the victim of one of the strangest decisions the Wolverhampton stewards have ever made when he was denied victory following an enquiry during his latest start; he is fancied to gain compensation today, with Gallas, Diktatorship and Beldon Hill forwarded as the main dangers. Beldon Hill seemed to lose his way during his time with Clive Brittain but may have been freshened up by his recent switch to Richard Fahey. He has been given a chance by the handicapper and is one to bear in mind for a small prize somewhere along the line. Diktatorship improved when stepped up in trip last season and has claims on the pick of his form. It's obviously hard to gauge whether his unfortunate experience of being brought down on his only previous Wolverhampton visit has left any mental scares, though. Gallas has not stood much racing of late but proved he still retains enthusiasm when he finished second to the well-treated Artzola on his reappearance last November. He has subsequently proved his well being and should be capable of making the rest aware of his presence. However, perseverance is the name of the game with Foursquare Flyer and, assuming that he can stay out of trouble, the gelding has a solid chance of setting the record straight today.
