This looks a competitive handicap and Flashy Max, Peas In A Pod and Jelly Mo make most appeal with narrow preference for JELLY MO. The selection won a seller in good style at Lingfield last time when she beat Tabulate. She has more on her plate here, but the manner of that success marked her down as one to stay on the right side of and from a good draw she can go close. Flashy Max is on the hat-trick bid today but the race he won last time did not look the strongest of events and he has yet to prove himself over this trip. Peas In A Pod failed to get home at Kempton over a mile so it is hard to see this extra distance playing to his strengths tonight. Star Choice has been well beaten in three maiden races and he has a bit to prove on his handicap bow. This is not a race to get the juices flowing, but Jelly Mo is the pick.
