In depth

Verdict

Another tough race here for punters to fathom but the principals look to be Tempsford, Ionian Spring and Eoz and the confident vote goes to Tempsford. The three year old from the Sir Mark Prescott yard is a course and distance winner and he won with so much in hand at Catterick Last time out when defeating Theater Tinka he is taken to score again here. Ionian Spring rates the main danger he was a fair fifth behind Navado in a hot handicap last time and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close but he may struggle to give weight and a beating to Tempsford. Eoz is also worthy of respect but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him when disappointing at Haydock last time out so we are happy to side with Tempsford.
