Rafters Music is best in on official BHB ratings but has given little sign of encouragement of late and preference is for On The Trail, who gets the verdict over Welsh Whisper. The last mentioned has been running with credit in Banded stakes race of late but this arguably represents a step up in class for Steve Brookshaw's mare and On The Trail is preferred. David Chapman has his string in good form at present and the son of Catrail comes here on the back of a win over this trip in similar company at Southwell. A reproduction of that effort should suffice. Indian Music has shown a consistent level of form of late and has to be respected but may struggle to give weight away and a bigger threat may come from David Barron's 11-year-old Mallia. However, this should not take muck winning and On The Trail gets the vote.
