      Verdict

      This looks to rest between Cruise Director, Gig Harbour and Cold Turkey. And, now that he has a few runs under his belt, the vote goes to Cruise Director this time around. Having been rested for a couple of months during the early winter, the selection may have needed his recent outings to bring his race fitness up to scratch. This surface holds no fears for Willie Musson's charge and he can get one over on his old rivals this afternoon. Gig Harbour and Cold Turkey have endured a long campaign that has seen them come into opposition on several occasions. It is safe to assume there is unlikely to be much between them again as this time around. But Gig Harbour has more experience of the course and, on 5lb better terms than for last week's encounter, the top weight can win that personal battle today. However, Cruise Director makes slightly more appeal on these terms and, as his odds are likely to be a touch more attractive, he looks the one to side with in a tricky little race.
