Verdict

GREYFRIARSCHORISTA can continue his climb up the weights at the expense of Robust Wish and Transfixed. Mark Johnston's charge could be some way ahead of the handicapper at present and while he will be priced accordingly, connections would be disappointed were he not able to pick up some more prize money today. Robust Wish disposed of his rivals with the minimum of fuss in a Wolverhampton maiden. Seven furlongs suits despite his pedigree leaning towards slightly further being an optimum. Transfixed has been kept on the go all winter. It would always be folly to discount any David Evans runner in an event of this magnitude. Gertmegalush isn't the biggest of individuals so the weight will be a worry. The handicapper does not appear to be taking too many chances either. Tukitinyasock and Tamarind Hill have a bit to find on their most recent appearances. Greyfriarschorista is still very much open to progression and we seek not to oppose.
