The vote here goes to Regency Red ahead of Level Par and Mytton's Dream Regency Red won a similar event over course and distance last time and, running from a similar mark, seems to hold solid claims. That said, Irish import Level Par was having his first run for well over 400 days when beaten a length and a quarter into third on that occasion and is now six pounds better off. That brings him right into it. Peace Emblem has failed to build on his course and distance March maiden win, although he holds place claims, while Pragmatica's summer Turf form would give him claims but his all-weather record is not good. A winner off a mark of 40, course and distance winner Tuscan Treaty has been knocking at the door in two subsequent runs from his higher mark so holds a shout for money, while Be Bop Aloha could be open to improvement, so watch the betting, a similar comment applying to Diamond Dan and the lightly-raced Naval Attache. Finally, Mytton's Dream made late headway here last time over a shorter trip and is one to consider, while Tintac is possibly open to some improvement. Overall, though, we will stick with Regency Red.
