In a race in which nothing stands out, Peephole gets a narrow vote over Pix, with Perfect Order and Twilight Avenger also worth noting. Peephole had shown nothing in four previous starts before finishing third at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago. Fergus Sweeney sent her into the lead five furlongs out but she failed to last home, and so the decision to drop him back in trip here may prove to be an inspired move. He was just in front of Pix last time, and on today's terms is taken to maintain that form at the very least on the latter who is still a maiden after 13 starts. Perfect Order has yet to show any worthwhile form but may improve for the step up in trip, while a similar comment applies to Twilight Avenger. It is not the greatest of contests, but Peephole is taken to come good.
