Verdict

Justcallmehandsome scored off a lower mark here in June but posted a poor effort back at this track last week. Aussie Blue showed signs of a return to form when runner-up here last time and Nicholas Pocock occupied the same position in a seller over C&D on his penultimate start. McCool Bannanas isn't out of this on his handicap debut and So Wise is another lightly-raced sort to consider but the vote goes to EASTERN GIFT, who needs only to reproduce his recent third in much better company at Brighton to land this.
