Aegis and Royal Rationale have the highest BHB ratings of those to have earned one but both are becoming slightly exposed now and this may go to one of the less experienced runners with Imply getting the vote over Encores. The last mentioned has shown some promise in both starts but may do better once sent handicapping so looks best watched today. Henry Bernstein was well held on his only start as a juvenile but Henry Cecil has his string in fine form at present so he has to be respected, while similar comments apply to Gerard Butler's Traditionalist. The vote then goes to Imply, who lost no caste in defeat on his debut in the Wood Ditton and John Gosden's colt may not need to improve much on that to take the honours here.
