There are several likely improvers in this. Goodwood fourth Berkshire Blue is one and Jedhi is another. Reassurance found 1m2f an insufficient test of stamina at Salisbury and James Tate’s filly should finish closer here. Plentiful was beaten more than 16 lengths on debut at Redcar, however, and didn’t improve on that at Haydock. PEGASUS KID (NAP) looked clueless on his introduction at Doncaster until the penny dropped. He stayed on strongly up the straight and would have finished much closer to the first two had he not been badly hampered. That experience will have done him the world of good and he should prove a lot better than this grade in time.
