Verdict

SOUTHERN STORM (NAP) opened her account with a six-length success in a Kempton maiden last month. She had a subsequent winner back in third and has plenty of scope now handicapping for the first time. By contrast, the veteran Idol Deputy took his tally of course wins to 11 when scoring here last time and could be in the mix once again while Jack Of Diamonds won over track and trip the last time he raced in this grade. Pick A Little and Beautiful Stranger were in good form last year but both are returning from a lay-off.
