Lacework, Vincennes and Fidelia are the three to look at here and Lacework looks set to follow up a good debut with a win here. Sir Michael Stoute's runner was sent off joint favourite for her debut at Lingfield and was doing all her best work at the finish, finishing a length second. This looks a good opportunity for Lacework to get off the mark. Vincennes represents Michael Jarvis and she is a half sister to Cape Cross and related to a top class winning family. She could be an exciting newcomer and any market move should be heeded. Geoff Wragg's Fidelia is also well bred out of a dam who is a half sister to Rebecca Sharp. As a daughter of Singspiel she may prefer further. Lacework gets the vote in an above average contest.
