Charlie Delta gets the vote ahead of Ours and Champain Sands. Jim Boyle's gelding steps back up to seven furlongs today after staying on well over six furlongs last time out. He should be capable of winning off this mark of 60 and whilst there are still doubts over whether he fully gets a truly run seven furlongs, he looks sure to give punters a good run for their money. Ours should strip fitter for his recent outing and has some good course and distance form to his name. Golden Spectrum drops in trip but is arguably better over a mile and may be doing his best work when the race is over. Lucius Verrus is handicapped up to the hilt and but is slowly edging down the weights. Champain Sands is consistent but is another dropping in trip and they will need to go lickety-split early on for him to come out on top, especially as he is held up in his races. At a price course and distance winner Mister Benji could go well, however Charlie Delta is consistent and gets the tentative selection.
