        Verdict

        Oakley Girl is 15lb higher than for her first victory at Lingfield in November and couldn't cope with India's Song at Kempton. The winner is at the top of her game at present but also on her highest-ever mark and may just find a couple too strong. Lay Marl, who wasn't far behind in that latter race, was having her first start since August and can get closer. Richard Fahey's pair Abbey Angel and MITRE PEAK are also in top form and the latter especially was impressive when scoring over slightly further here. This is her handicap debut and she takes on much better class opposition but there's more to come and she can take this before going on to better things.
