Verdict

Clayton has every chance on these terms but has disappointed the last twice now and was still well beaten when runner-up here last time. GENEROUS JACK is preferred as the bumper winner made a promising start over timber when third in testing ground at Towcester last month. Jim Best's charge gets the nod given Arcamante has gone backwards since finishing third at Leicester in November and it's even harder to make a decent case for any of the remainder.
