        Powerful Pierre won a claimer over track and trip before failing to trouble the winner in a better handicap than this over 7f last time. Take The Lead is another with a chance back on this surface after winning at Southwell during the week. BAPAK BANGSAWAN has gone close on a couple of occasions over the minimum trip at Southwell recently. He won at Kempton the last time he raced over 6f so Kevin Ryan's charge gets the nod. Desert Strike is capable of popping up at this level on his day but was engaged to run here yesterday.
