Verdict

Uncle Bernie sees out 1m6f well enough and finished second over that distance here last weekend. But he's yet to race over 2m and DARING INDIAN looks a safer bet. The latter wasn't beaten that far when fourth over today's trip at Kempton last time and can land this competing off the same mark. Shalambar has won over hurdles and 1m4f on the Flat. He may figure having slipped down the weights of late but Moaning Butcher has been well beaten over timber recently and has placed just the once in 12 starts on the level.
