      Verdict

      THE THIRD MAN made a winning start at Kempton and ran well on his recent return at Newbury. He has more scope than Goodwood runner-up Hedge End and John Gosden's colt can come out best. Polytrack winner Rayoumti posted a poor effort when sent off favourite on her reappearance and Lacock may improve past her having run better than his finishing position suggests at Newbury on his handicap bow. Sweet Alibi is upped in class off a higher mark on the back of a win at Bath.
