      Verdict

A typically open Showcase sprint with many leading contenders including d'Accord who has proved a model of consisteny ofl tae and is the TEAMtalk pick to gain an iverdue success. The son of Beveled has been placed in similar company on his last three starts including when caught close home by Sir Desmond over 6f here earlier in the month. There is every reason to believe the placings can be reversed as the winner re-opposes off a 4lb higher mark and the drop back to the minimum trip looks against him. Lisianski easily brushed aside Texas Gold (second), Whistler (fourth) and Prime Recreation (ninth) when a five-length winner at Catterick but has been punished with a subsequent 12lb rise and may struggle off his current mark. Madrasee had little to spare when scoring at Goodwood last time and now looks held off a 5lb higher mark but recent Chester winner Corridor Creeper remains fairly treated on the pick of his form and can reach a place.
