Kimngrace shaped well on debut behind Frankella and was only beaten five lengths in a Listed race at Newbury on her other start. Back in calmer waters, she's a major player, receiving a 5lb fillies allowance. Scattering got stuck in testing ground at Goodwood and should do better on this quicker terrain and both Codify and northern raider Sherdil have shown enough to suggest they can land a maiden. But preference is for SIR HENRY COTTON (NAP), who is more exposed but was runner-up to a useful sort at Newbury and a respectable fifth in a hot Goodwood nursery later.
