Verdict

Black Skirt looks like an improver and is taken to break her maiden tag at the expense of Giverny and Kayceebee. The selection was a good second behind Soul Sista at Salisbury last time out having shown considerable improvement form her debut. She steps down to the minimum trip today which ought to suit and if showing the same level of ability as she has shown she could be difficult to beat. Of the newcomers Giverny looks the most interesting on breeding. She has plenty of speed in her blood being by Invincible Spirit so any market support should be noted. Kayceebee improved for the drop in trip over course and distance last time out and is another that can be in the shake up, but for the winner we return to Black Skirt.
