John Dunlop's newcomers generally need a run, and Photofit is now reckoned straight enough to score ahead of debutante Harrison Point and Henry Cecil's Indian Dream. Photofit made his debut at Haydock where this good looking sort seemed to lose his action on the rain-softened ground. The faster underfoot conditions here should bring about plenty of improvement from the son of Polish Precedent who gets the vote. Harrison Point, a son of Nuryev may prove the best of John Gosden's pair as Enchanted Princess showed little on her Newbury debut. Indian Dream was given a very quiet ride by Willie Ryan on her Warwick bow, eventually running on at one pace in fifth. She needs further and a bit of cut in the ground if she is to make an impact, so is passed over. Gravia improved markedly when a close fifth here last time and is another who merits a mention, but for the winner we return to Photofit and Kevin Darley.
