The trio of Naughty Girl, Aegean Magic and Silver Chime all line up in form, and it is the latter who gets the vote in an open handicap. Silver Chime had been knocking at the door prior to her gutsy success on her handicap debut at Leicester where she hit the front two out and just kept doing enough to hold on. She has weak knees and would not want it any faster but under the prevailing conditions, can defy a small rise to be coaxed home again from stall 15 by Jason Tate. Aegean Magic is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Salisbury and Lingfield. Having suddenly found her form, she should give another bold showing here, although Richard Hannon's filly has a tough draw in stall one. Naughty Girl, housed in the centre, went close a couple of times as a juvenile and came good in maiden company at Hamilton. She is not too badly treated for her handicap bow but may find the selection too much of a handful. Amelia was a beaten favourite last time, and Marabar has it to do off topweight, so Silver Chime has a leading chance.
